There one 3 common and one t common GCF = 3 * t = 3t So 3t is a factor of the given expression Step 2: Take out 3t ( GCF ) common from the given expression 3n 2 t + 6nt + 3t =3t (n 2 + 2n +1) Step 3: Use the formula (a+b) 2 = a 2 + 2ab +b 2 to factorize farther 3t (n 2 + 2n + 1) =3t (n 2 + 2 * n * 1 + 1 2 ) =3t (n + 1) 2 since (n 2 + 2n + 1) is a perfect square and using (a + b) 2 = a 2 + 2ab +b 2 Answer is 3t (n+1) 2 2 nd problem #102-3 + 9y – 7y + 21y 2 we see that we have to make factors of 21 * 3 i.e. 63 in such a way that they subtract or add up to give +2. I would like to start the beginning of this assignment by saying thank you to my professors of my last two algebra classes at Ashford. Although, this last class has been very frustrating for me with as many technical issues that I have had with the class and I am even ending the class on that note. I want to complete the class and may not be real happy with my grade I know that I have learned a lot of algrebra in the last 10 weeks.
